- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had forgotten the main reason why I stopped going to see Dr. Grider, until I had no choice but to make an appointment with him and was passed off to Nurse Pat (as was always the case in the past). As usual, Ms. Perry made a poor show of pretending like she knew what she was talking about. Worse than that, however, was that I got the distinct impression that she didn't take my concern/complaint seriously. Basically, after a full week of dealing with a persistent migraine, accompanied by neck pain, sleeplessness, nausea and night sweats, I was shooed out of the office with a two-day prescription for what is basically extra-strength Tylenol. Her method of checking to see if I had a fever? A hand against my forehead. Her ultimate answer (that she seemed completely satisfied with) was "maybe you're getting sick." I still don't like Dr. Grider, but if I'm ever in a situation where I need to go back, I'll insist on seeing him. Ms. Perry was a waste of both my time and my co-pay.March 01, 2017by Rachel Beam
